“I did a six-month work placement with Danone UK while at university, before joining permanently. Danone is really good at offering opportunities for promotion across the company. If you can demonstrate you have the skills to move on, they will give you that chance. There are lots of training courses and there is always someone on hand to offer guidance.”
“There are also opportunities outside of working roles and thanks to Danone UK I spent four weeks teaching English in Argentina.”
"I joined Danone to work in Supply Chain, in demand planning. Here I am involved in developing collaboration with customers to find solutions to improving on-shelf availability, among other. I have also been involved in building the company’s strategic plan and it has been extremely motivational to have a say in how the company moves forward.”
“I began working for Danone in Paris after university. Danone helped me quickly settle into Parisian life and learn the communication skills needed for the role.
“I spent nearly three years in France before returning to the UK. I have had four very different jobs in four years, all of which have challenged me to develop and improve my own skills. It’s part of the factor that makes working at Danone diverse and exciting.”
"When I joined Danone in 2004, my role was to support the users in Danone Dairy. As the business has grown, my role has expanded and now involves supporting Danone Dairy and Danone Waters. Danone keeps up-to-date with the ever changing pace of IS and IT technologies which means there is always new and exciting projects to be involved in."
“When I joined Danone UK in 2004 my role was to head up the category management team for Dairy.
“Just recently I’ve become a marketing manager. I’m really keen to develop my marketing skills and have a lot to learn, but the sheer difference in the challenge is something that excites me. Throughout my time here, the attitude to performance development has been excellent. Lots of resources are available to help people and training is given to suit individual needs.”
"I joined Danone shortly after graduating from University, and have since been promoted to Accounts Assistant. I get a lot of exposure to many different aspects of the business, which is great from a development point of view. Danone supported my aspirations to do my CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) qualifications. My managers have always offered lots of support and career advice, and you really feel that they take a key interest in your development and future within Danone."
