Since 1999, Danone UK’s brands and direction have been entirely focused around consumers’ health needs. A strategy that is consistent with the focus of Danone companies worldwide. For example, Actimel is Britain’s best-selling probiotic drinking yogurt, accounting for more bottles sold in 2006 than all other brands combined.

However, despite a huge shift in trends towards natural, good for you products, consumption of yogurt in the UK is still much lower than in other countries. We aim to drive this consumption with our continued health propositions.
