CV Tips
Different people have different thoughts about what makes a good CV. We would recommend the following:
1. Focus your CV on the skill sets you feel would suit the role/company you are applying for. Do not leave it as a generic CV, but adapt it according to the role as this will demonstrate your motivation and commitment to the position and company.
2. Ensure clarity; for each role, list key tasks and then your achievements.
3. Check all dates, spelling and grammar are correct. Inaccuracy in a CV is a big turn off.
4. Make your CV stand out by letting us know about what you really love to do in your spare time i.e. your hobbies, travel, extra curricular activities, achievements, charity work etc
5. We will be looking for your 'fit with Danone' within your CV. Danone has a strong commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and the diversity within the business. Therefore any reference to travel, international exposure, languages or charity work you have done would stand out for us.
6. Ensure you can substantiate everything you include in your CV i.e. if you have stated that you have language skills, these may be tested in the interview. When listing your key strengths, you need to have examples ready to discuss.
